Welcome to ARTea Art School : Professional Art Programs, Classes & parties in Melbourne
ARTea is an ART school nurturing creativity and celebrating special events! Our beautiful venue is located in Port Melbourne for your next ARTea party. We now offer online programs, parties and events. We offer a range of packages and activities for all ages, girls & boys from baby keepsake prints, sensory play, painting like your favorite artist, clay sculpting, t-shirt fashion design, skateboard graffiti art, and much more!! Our art school also offers a wide range of professional programs for children (pre-school – STEAM, 5-12 years, teens, holidays) & adults (classes, events, mothers groups, creative Hens/High Tea, corporate team building, Sip & Paint Social Painting). Our programs & Art classes are available in Port Melbourne, Seabrook, Point Cook, Melbourne CBD, Altona, Williamstown, Port Melbourne, and Elwood/St. Kilda. We can tailor the art activity to cater to the interests of the birthday person. Then we finish off the party with party games (pass the parcel, pinata) and a disco!!
We can organize the party of your dreams, whatever the budget we can sort it out for you!! From very simple venue hire to fully dresses Mad Hatter’s High Tea party, with your ideas, ARTea party can make it into a reality! We hand make our decorations and we love a challenge so add a theme, any is possible. The venue is very versatile so invite your favorite superhero or a fairy, pet your favorite farm animal, mini pets, reptile or pony dress-ups, bop to your favorite song at the disco, laugh at a clown or be marveled by a Magician, just a few more ideas.
We can also visit you, simply leave the work to us and we will look after all planning and preparations. Invite us to your next birthday party, event, fete, festival, christening, corporate function, wedding, or any celebration. We bring all the equipment and materials and host the activities.
Covid-19 Guidelines Implemented
We have put into place many measures to keep our students, guests, and staff safe. We ask that any parent, child, or staff that has come in contact with someone with COVID-19 in the past 14 days to remain home.
- Hand sanitizer will be made available at the entrance of the venue and guests will be required to use it before entering the venue.
- To maintain a safe physical distance we have rearranged furniture and spaced seating.
- The number of participants attending classes, parties, and holiday workshops will be limited.
- All high touch areas and items (e.g. door handles, tables, chairs, paint brushes, etc) will be disinfected between events.

Fantastic place! I wanted a fun and relaxed activity for my sisters hens party. Helen did an amazing job helping me decide on an activity and plan for the afternoon – we ended up all making birds from clay with some fabulous sequin and feather add ons. Helen hosted our child’s third birthday party at Artea and it was a hit! So well coordinated and the theme looked a treat. All the kids were happy and it was just the right flow to keep them engaged, and amazingly the parents had more than 5 seconds to talk to each other! Everyone commented on what a great space it was. Not just your everyday art program!
Art classes are tailored around a movement or a specific artist or art form and the kids are given insights into each before they embark on their own artworks on the days theme/topic. A true art education with really creative and practical applications each week using different and interesting materials. My girls absolutely love it and I’m thrilled that they are really investigating and learning about the wonderful world of art without realising it.
